The FSC/FSS appointed Douglas Kim a foreign spokesperson effective July 1 to help improve communication with the foreign business community and foreign news media. Douglas Kim has worked at the FSS International Cooperation Office since 2001. Prior to joining the FSS, he worked as an English editor at the International Tax Division, Ministry of Finance and Economy, as an economic research analyst at the Bureau of Economics, U.S. Federal Trade Commission, and as a statistician at the U.S. Patent Office in Washington, D.C. Mr. Kim received M.A. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University in May, 1992.
