Vice Chairman Kim So-young presided over a meeting with relevant institutions to check financial market conditions on September 23. At the meeting, Vice Chairman Kim said that it is necessary to closely monitor risk contagion in markets amid increased uncertainties surrounding financial markets at home and abroad. At the meeting, authorities also discussed a plan to extend the availability of measures intended to mitigate volatility in stock markets (initially introduced on July 4, 2022) until the end of December this year.
