Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission presided over a meeting with officials from related organizations to commemorate the official launch of the one-stop assistance program made available for the victims of illegal private lending on March 9. With the availability of this support, debtors falling victims to illegal predatory lending will be able to receive a wide-ranging assistance from related authorities, including suspension of illegal debt collection activities, free legal representation, police investigation, and damage recovery. Each individual calling for assistance will be assigned a case officer from the inclusive finance support center to ensure the provision of available support measures throughout the entire process.
