Vice Chairman Kwon Dae-young of the Financial Services Commission attended a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony held between related government ministries, financial institutions, and enterprises for cooperation on project finance for the development of Shinan Ui offshore wind farm in South Jeolla Province. At the event, Vice Chairman Kwon delivered congratulatory remarks where he discussed the importance of making transitions away from fossil fuels and toward renewable energies. In this regard, Vice Chairman Kwon also spoke about the need to secure sufficient power supply to be able to meet the growing needs from AI data centers to promote a high-tech-driven growth in the economy.
