Vice Chairman holds meeting on financial consulting service for young adultsJun 30, 2026

Vice Chairman Kwon Dae-young of the Financial Services Commission presided over the third taskforce meeting on the provision of individually tailored financial consulting service for young adults on June 30. Within this year, officials plan to expand the number of financial consulting sites made available for young adults to at least 200 places from 21 sites currently. In particular, the availability of consulting sites in the regions outside the Seoul metropolitan area will be increased to about a 50 percent level from the current level of about 30 percent. At today's meeting, Vice Chairman Kwon spoke about the importance of expanding the availability of opportunities for young adults and what the government has been working on to achieve that goal. In this regard, Vice Chairman Kwon said that this program to expand the provision of one-on-one financial consulting service for young adults is a meaningful step toward that goal.
