Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission attended the FSC-MOTIR (Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Resources) joint conference on strengthening support for the development of physical AI on July 1, joined by officials from related industries and financial companies. At the meeting, participants discussed ways to strengthen private-public cooperation to boost support for the development of physical AI and help to advance the industrial strength of Korea in the AI sector. Speaking about the great promise that physical AI can bring to the manufacturing sector, Chairman Lee said that it can significantly enhance productivity in manufacturing and help create new engines for growth in our economy. In this regard, Chairman Lee said that the National Growth Fund will make sure to supply sufficient investment support to propel private sector investments in physical AI development.
