Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission attended the opening ceremony of the one-stop finance-employment-welfare support center launched in collaboration with a local financial company in Busan on July 3. The comprehensive one-stop support center will provide microloan and debt workout services, employment counseling and training programs, and services related to the low-income entitlement programs available for vulnerable groups in the Busan metropolitan area. The center is expected to help boost local residents' access to microfinance support and various employment and welfare assistance programs. At the opening ceremony, Chairman Lee delivered congratulatory remarks where he emphasized the need to ensure a lasting continuity in the provision of support to be able to open up opportunities and hope for those struggling with difficult situations. In this regard, going beyond simply providing support for personal credit recovery, Chairman Lee said that this one-stop support center can offer a new model and vision of inclusive finance for regional economies.
